Water to Wine Tour - A Uniquely Placid Way to Taste Wine

This tasteful and adventurous guided tour begins with a one hour float trip down the beautiful Verde River. On this float trip you will enjoy the abundant wildlife and magnificent scenery along the River's lush banks. The Verde River offers small chutes and drops making your kayaking experience fun and exciting.

No kayaking experience? No problem! Our inflatable kayaks are comfortable and safe making this trip ideal even for beginners.

Your float trip continues to the Tuscan-style farmhouse of Alcantara Vineyard, located on the banks of the Verde River. Alcantara Vineyard offers award winning wines and knowledgeable Sommeliers.

You will receive a $20.00 gift certificate for a wine tasting, gift shop purchase or towards a bottle of wine. Great photo opportunities!

Underage guests are $95.00 without wine tasting.  Children 5-12 must be in tandem kayak with adult.

Scenic Wine Tasting Tour
Looking for something different that is sure to please? Sedona Adventure Outfitters & Guides will take you on a Scenic Wine Tasting Tour offering comfortable and relaxing wine tastings at the areaís finest vineyards. Let us be your designated driver as we transport you in our large, comfortable, climate controlled vans. On your scenic wine tour you will be able to taste the latest harvests while enjoying the varied geology along Oak Creek.

The tour offers two to three vineyards for wine tasting depending on availability and season. The vineyards offer wine tastings at an additional fee. Your tour will leave beautiful Sedona traveling a short distance south to the lush area of Page Springs to Oak Creek Vineyard.

This charming adobe country style tasting room located on the volcanic hillsides of Oak Creek offering a unique selection of Arizona wines. They produce full bodied, flavorful red wines along with lean whites.

Next, we will take you to Page Springs Cellars an artisanal winery specializing in handcrafted Rhone style wines. After your wine tasting, you will receive a wine glass to take home as a souvenir. Time permitting our last stop will be Javelina Leap Vineyards, offering a saloon style tasting room with copper ceiling, oak bar and ragtime music playing. Javelina Leap has a variety of nationally recognized Zinfandels that are sure to please any wine lover.
